Job Summary:
The CNC Machinist operates a variety of machine tools, including CNC machines (such as lathes and milling machines) to cut & produce precision parts, and also has the skills to create set ups. This position reports directly to the Manufacturing Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operates and maintains lathe and milling machines.
- Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production.
- Capable of complete setups of all machines
- Must be capable of qualifying 1st piece, complete inspection method sheets.
- Run production as needed or assigned.
- Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings, as necessary.
- Maintains inventory of completed products.
- Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discards defects
- Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Maintains a safe and clean workstation.
- Keeps Supervisor informed regarding progress and problems.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent coordination and mechanical skills
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Must possess good problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience:

Job Summary:
The Deburring Technician will perform a series of operations, including the use of an air grinder, buffing wheels, using a belt sander, blast cabinets, and various hand tools. This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Deburring various medical/aerospace parts for our customers
- Operating various machinery in this process. Including an air grinder, buffing wheels, belt sander, blasting cabinets
- Operating various hand tools, including files and stones
- Reading blueprints to ensure the deburring meets product specifications.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Must be able to operate certain machinery, including an air grinder, buffing wheels, belt sanders.
- Must be able to use various hand tools, including files and stones.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Must have ability to read blueprints.
- Must be detail oriented, especially to fine details.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma/GED or relevant experience
- Previous machining experience preferred.

Job Summary:
The Tool Maker will cut, shape, finish, and maintain tools made of metal and gages from tool drawings. This position reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Uses tools and dies to build fixtures from tool drawings.
- Repairs tools when needed.
- Designs and builds tools and gages from operation sheets or part prints.
- Set up & run production equipment when required.
- Reads and understands blueprints and complicated schematics as required to create and build new fixtures, tools, and machine parts.
- Inspects completed tools for signs of imperfection or damage that may affect functionality.
- Regularly tests all equipment, tools, and machines to ensure they are arranged and set properly and working efficiently.
- Maintains a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Capability of setting up and operating all tool room equipment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to safely and accurately operate all measuring and production equipment skills.
- Thorough understanding of metallic properties
- Ability to work independently, as well as with Engineers & Machinists
- Proficient with computer-aided design (CAD) design
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma/GED or relevant experience
- Successful completion of an apprentice program with a licensed professional or established company preferred.
- On-the-job training available
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds at times.
- Ability to keep a clean work environment.
